On Mindfulness and Writing

✍🏽 I once heard someone say your passion is the thing you do the best with the least amount of effort. For me, that is writing. Writing energizes and fulfills me. It’s where I feel most productive.

But even with passion, there’s always room for continual improvement. This year, I’ve used mindfulness to elevate my writing. It has helped me be more intentional. When I slow down I notice more. I become less reactive and more reflective. That presence shows up in my writing, helping me write with greater clarity and compassion.

Together, mindfulness and writing help create a feedback loop. One helps me turn in and the other helps me speak out. Both have made me a more purposeful communicator and thoughtful leader.

So, I keep breathing. I keep writing. And I keep learning.

As I look forward and consider gratitude, I note that I am grateful for growth.
