I’ve been thinking a lot about the amount of change (read: chaos) we’re bearing witness to in this season. I know change is always happening, but right now, it seems like A LOT. 

A husband, a father, a drum major for justice - Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He was many things to many people, but at his core, he was a man who refused to stay silent about the things that mattered. He spoke boldly; not because it was easy, but because it was necessary.

“You’ve got two ears and one mouth for a reason.” Anyone else grow up hearing that? Sometimes those simple childhood lessons become the most relevant in adulthood.

You know what’s coming in less than two weeks: the flood of “new year, new me” posts declaring that 2026 is going to be the year.

A couple of weeks ago, I shared thoughts on making time for the important things in life and how to maximize the free time you do have. Multitasking can be smart, but at some point, you’ve got to dedicate time away for yourself.
